Welcome to Crew Pacific’s Internationally recognized Eight-day, Super Yacht Training for Steward/Stewardess. This eight-day course has been designed for Steward/Stewardess, looking too advance their careers into the Maritime Super Yacht Industry. This course is aimed at those with knowledge and experience within the Hospitality and Customer service Industry, who would like to advance their skills into the Super Yacht Industry.

Crew Pacific’s aim is to enhance the skills already achieved within the Hospitality and Customer service Industry and to adapt those skills across to shipboard life.

PRE REQUISITES FOR APPLICANTS: Hospitality Experience/Certificates, Senior First Aid, Maritime Occupational Health and Safety at Sea, and Basic Fire fighting (STCW95) standard or be prepared to obtain such Qualifications.

The course provides advanced training in the necessary skills required to carry out your duties within the shipboard environment.

What does STCW95 mean and How can I Obtain this certification?

"This is A basic Certificate of Safety Training for Seafarers". This is an International standard arising from the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and has the force of law in all the signatory countries. This was implicated on January 1 1996, with full compliance to be achieved by February 1 2002. The convention gives the minimum standards of qualifications required by all crew at various levels depending upon vessel size. All crew involved in any safety or muster must complete this one week course.

The course covers:

  1. Personal Survival Techniques Section A-VI/1-1
  2. Personal Safety and Social Responsibility Section A-V1/1-4,
  3. Basic Fire prevention & fire fighting Section A-V1/1-2

Elementary (Senior) First Aid Section A-Vl/1-3 is not covered in the TNQTAFE course and must be completed prior to enrolment with any first aid provider.
