» FEMALE CHEF OR STRONG COOK FOR 30M SAILING YACHT (PRIVATE)
Work Information:
A 30M sailing yacht is currently searching for a female chef or strong cook to join their crew of 4. The person needs to be between the ages of Mid 20’s to early 30's, strong and active and does not mind hard work. The yacht is currently in Cairns, Australia. The candidate needs to have a strong level of Mediterranean and oriental cuisine. The candidate needs to be a fun and energetic person with a good sense of humour. The owner is big on Meats/Seafood and desserts. There is generally a maximum of 6 guests you will be expected to cook for 6 guests and 4 crew. The crew-member will be expected to assist with watches and help the other crew when required. You will be expected to do a late night shift twice a week, this consists of serving guests just drinks no food. You will be expected to share alternating late night shifts with the stewardess (serving drinks and no food) when required.
Medical and 30 day annual leave is provided. The yacht will pay for flights to yacht. The yacht is completing a 3-4 year trip around the world. The owner is a person who likes and demands creative interesting food. Lives life at a very fast pace and expects everyone else to keep up. The person must have some understanding of sailing and like sailing yachts & watches. Be prepared to submit monthly accounts, provision and keep the galley clean and tidy at all times. The crew are Australian, Canadian and British. The crew will be expected to give a 12 month commitment and there will be a 3 month probation period.
No piercings, ears and small nose stud accepted. Small visible tattoos are allowed.
The yacht does not like “princesses or prim donnas” on board either. They want someone who is happy to chip in with the rest of the crew – to work as a team.
Chef will be sharing with the Mate (captain and stew are not a couple)
If you are currently overseas looking for work the yacht is interested in viewing candidates, however they do not want to pay for flights back to Australia. You will need to cover you own flight to the yacht and will be trained with the crew for two weeks. If you work out fine and fit in with the crew they will reimburse your flight cost back to you.

STCW95, Strong cooking skills or qualifications or a qualified chef; French or Spanish as a second language would be good.

» A CHIEF STEWARDESS POSITION FOR A 55M MOTOR YACHT EXCURISION YACHT (PRIVATE / CHARTER)
Yacht Information:
A 55m Motor Yacht is currently looking for a Chief stewardess to join their crew of 8. The yacht is currently in Singapore. The successful candidate will be between the ages of 25 to 40 with the relevant qualifications, experience and knowledge (including being familiar with the relevant documentation) required for a commercial class yacht of this size. The owner is European and currently the crew consist of an American Captain, European Engineer with the remaining crew being Indonesian. The owner will use the yacht 6 months of the year, with the other 6 months being available for possible charters (when chartering, the crew will increase to up to 12). A one year contract to be signed by the successful candidate while working 8 months onboard (further details to be advised during interview process); Flights to the yacht will be covered and all benefits (e.g.: medical insurance, etc) will be discussed should an interview be arranged. Management skills would be a bonus. Medical and annual holiday will be discussed with the candidate during the interview.
The yacht is commercial (Cayman Islands)

Having a STCW95 is a must, and relevant Chief stewardess experience is a must.

» A MALE / FEMALE FIRST MATE-CHIEF OFFICER POSITION FOR A 55M MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE / CHARTER)
Yacht Information:
A 55m Motor Yacht is currently looking for Male / Female First Mate - Chief Officer to join their crew of 8. The yacht is currently in Singapore. The successful candidate will be between the ages of 25 to 40 with the relevant qualifications, experience and knowledge (including being familiar with the relevant documentation) required for a commercial class yacht of this size. Being familiar with electronics and having diving experience will be preferred, but not mandatory. The owner is European and currently the crew consist of an American Captain, European Engineer with the remaining crew being Indonesian. *** Licence will be submitted to the Cayman Islands for approval. Candidates must have the appropriate licence for large commercial classed yacht with medical training.

» 3rd STEWARDESS POSITION ON 50M MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE)
Yacht Information:
A 50m motor yacht is currently looking for a 3rd Stewardess to join their crew of 11. The person needs to be between the age of Mid 20’s to 30’s. It is preferable that the candidate has some form of table service background. If the crew-member has worked on a yacht before they need to have had general laundry knowledge, guest services and interior detailing experience, not necessarily Silver service but Buffet and plated table service. The candidate would also be required to occasionally help outside when required so any deckhand skills will be an asset. Medical insurance is provided immediately on joining the yacht, Holidays are 3.5 days accumulated per month. One flight home per year. A bonus scheme is also in place contract can be e-mailed for review. The owner is American and he is very family orientated. The owner loves his yacht and regards it as home and they like casual style service. The yacht is mainly private however the owner does lead his yachts sometimes to friends to use. Then when this happens a more formal table is used on board. The Nationalities of the crew arrange from English, Australian, New Zealander, Scottish and Seychellois. We would prefer to employ candidates from Australia before looking at crew that are overseas. There is a Crew contract and the yacht would ideally like crew to commit to the job for at least one year or more. There is a three month probation period.
Itinerary:
The yacht is currently in Australia and will be heading to Indonesia in June 09.
The yacht will be in Cairns in August 2009 for a shipyard period. The yacht has been doing a round the world cruise for the last year. We are waiting on confirmation for the next phase of our travels. It certainly will not be based in the South of France or the Caribbean.
Qualifications:
STCW95, ENG1 Medical a B1/B2 visa this is preferable. Any other service orientated courses are of course welcome. A super yacht stewardess course is a bonus.

» A MALE/FEMALE CHEF POSITION FOR A 55M MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE) - ONLY A SEASONAL POSITION
Yacht Information:
A 55m motor yacht is currently searching for either a female or male chef to join their crew of 12 for the Mediterranean season. The crew-member will need to be between the ages of 28-40 years old. Need to be Western/European. Must have yacht experience and family orientated. The owners are very spontaneous, simple, and have attention to detail. the owner own a private villa on a small Greek Island, so you will be expected to help the chefs on the island on some occasions. So be prepared to be flexible at all times. The yacht will cover flights from anywhere in the world. A contract can be written up if required. Yacht only will need chef for about 45 days, then you will asked to assist.
Itinerary:
Holland for two weeks and in July to Greece and all of the Greek islands for August and September 2009.
Qualifications:
STCW95 is not necessary however is a bonus & yacht experience is a must.
