» A CHIEF ENGINEER POSITION FOR A 55M EXCURSION MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE)
Yacht Information:
A 55m private motor yacht is now looking for a head chef or strong cook join their crew of 8. The yacht is currently in Singapore. The successful candidate will be between the ages of 30 to 45 with the relevant qualifications, experience and knowledge required for a yacht of this size. The owner is European and the present crew consists of an American Captain, a European 2nd Engineer and Chief Mate with the rest of the crew being Indonesian.
The owner will use the yacht approx 6 months of the year. A one year contract to be signed by the successful candidate, working 10 months on board, starting with a 4 month probation period. Must be able to speak fluent English. The yacht is Cayman Islands flag. Medical insurance and annual holiday to be discussed with the candidate during the interview.
Itinerary
South East Asia for the next 12 months.

» FEMALE/MALE DECKHAND POSITION ON BOARD 92FT MOTOR YACHT (AUSTRALIAN FLAGGED) (PRIVATE/CHARTER)
Yacht Information:
An Australian flagged 92ft motor yacht is currently searching for female or male deckhand between the ages of 20-35 years old. The person must not be scared of hard work and long hours. The yacht has recently undergone an engine room refit and full exterior paint, plus interior cosmetic changes, now needs a male/female deckhand. The vessel is run by a total crew of 4, sometimes more depending on charter requirements, so must be a good team member and be able to help when necessary. The Captain has very high standard. Owners are active and want their crew to be energetic and enthusiastic.
Fishing and diving are common practice onboard. Full time & live aboard position. Duties will include maintaining the exterior of the vessel, toys & tenders as per super yacht standard whilst being proficient with all berthing and anchoring manoeuvres. Assisting the Captain with tasks such as engineering and repairs, Watch keeping, assisting (when required) the interior crew. “People skills” are essential as the vessel is used privately and for Charter.

Own cabin and ensuite – may be required to share during passage or if extra crew is temporary required. Four weeks paid leave each year + Superannuation, Work-cover insurance. Flight to vessel will be covered within Australia only.

» 2ND STEWARDESS POSITION FOR 125ft MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE/CHARTER)
Yacht Information:
A 125ft steel motor yacht is currently searching for a 2ND Stewardess to join the crew of 7 comprising of Australians, English and South Africans. The successful candidate will be mid 20’s to mid 30’s with the relevant qualifications, experience and knowledge. The yacht is European owned and is currently being used for a round the World cruise, preferring remote anchorages as opposed to marinas.
Itinerary
Now in Panama, the yacht is heading for the Galapagos Islands, the Marquesas Islands and then on to Australia. The cruise will continue to Asia, through the Suez and over to Europe and Italy Summer 2010.

» 2nd STEWARDESS POSITION ON 50M MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE)
Yacht Information:
A 50m motor yacht is currently looking for a Strong 2nd Stewardess to join their crew of 11. The person needs to be between the age of Mid 20’s to 30’s. The candidate needs to have at least 1-2 years experience as a 2nd Stewardess aboard a similar size yacht or bigger. The person needs to be strong in Table service, Laundry and interior detailing. These person will need to be able to step up to my role as a Chief stewardess when I am away on vacation and be a can do enthusiastic person.
The person needs to have strong organisational skills, Strong Computer knowledge in Excel, Word and outlook express this is essential for keeping track of inventories and orders. Medical insurance is provided immediately on joining the yacht, Holidays are 3.5 days accumulated per month. One flight home per year. A bonus scheme is also in place contract can be e-mailed for review. The owner is American and he is very family orientated. The owner loves his yacht and regards it as home and they like casual style service. The yacht is mainly private however the owner does lead his yachts sometimes to friends to use. Then when this happens a more formal table is used on board. The Nationalities of the crew arrange from English, Australian, New Zealander, Scottish and Seychellois. We would prefer to employ candidates from Australia before looking at crew that are overseas. There is a Crew contract and the yacht would ideally like crew to commit to the job for at least one year or more. There is a three month probation period.
The yacht is looking for a strong second stewardess that is ready to take the chief stewardess down the track. It would suit someone that has been on charter yachts and now wants something a little bit slower and has time to smell the roses so to speak instead of being flat out so much.

The yacht is currently in New Zealand, the yacht is completing a round the world cruise for the next year. We are waiting on confirmation for the next phase of our travels. It certainly will not be based in the South of France or the Caribbean.
Qualifications
STCW95, ENG1 Medical, a B1/B2 visa this is preferable, Any management courses, human resources or other people related qualifications is a bonus. Any other service orientated courses are of course welcome.

A 125ft steel motor yacht is currently searching for a Temp Captain to head the crew of 7 comprising of Australians, English and South Africans. The ideal candidate will be between the ages of 40-55 years and must have at least 10 years experience in yacht operations of this size. The yacht is European owned and is currently being used for a round the World cruise, preferring remote anchorages as opposed to marinas.
Itinerary
Will be in Brisbane and completing a 2 month refit. Apartments are provided. The yacht is heading for the Galapagos Islands, the Marques as Islands and then on to Australia. The cruise will continue to Asia, through the Suez and over to Europe and Italy Summer 2010.
Qualifications
Yachtmaster 500 GT / Master Class 2; Experience and knowledge in running a similar vessel of this size is a must.

» FEMALE CHEF OR STRONG COOK FOR 30M SAILING YACHT (PRIVATE)
Yacht Information:
A 30M sailing yacht requires a female chef or strong cook to join their crew of 4. Ideally aged mid 20’s to mid 30’s, strong and active and not afraid of hard work. The yacht is currently in PNG. The candidate needs to have a strong level of Mediterranean and Oriental cuisine and should be a fun and energetic person with a good sense of humour. There is generally a maximum of 6 guests you will be expected to cook for and the crew of 4. Candidate will be expected to assist with watches and help the other crew when required. There is usually a late night shift twice a week which consists of serving guests just drinks, no food. You will be expected to share these alternating late night shifts with the stewardess when required.
The owner is a person who likes and demands creative and interesting food and is big on Meats/Seafood and desserts. He lives life at a very fast pace and expects everyone else to keep up. The successful candidate must have an understanding of sailing and like sailing yachts & watches, be prepared to submit monthly accounts, provision and keep the galley clean and tidy at all times. The crew are British.
No piercings: ears and small nose stud accepted. Small visible tattoos are allowed.
The yacht does not like "princesses" or "prima donnas" on board. They want someone who is happy to chip in with the rest of the crew and work as a team.
Chef will be sharing a cabin with the Mate (captain and stew are not a couple).
If you are currently overseas looking for work the yacht is interested in viewing candidates, however they do not want to pay for flights back to PNG. You will need to cover you own flight to the yacht and will be trained with the crew for two weeks. If you work out fine and fit in with the crew your flight cost will be reimbursed.

STCW95, strong cooking skills or qualifications as a chef. French or Spanish as a second language would be good.

» CHEF POSITION ON A 130FT (40M) SAILING YACHT (AUSTRALIAN FLAGGED) (CHARTER AND PRIVATE)
Yacht Information:
A 130ft Sailing Yacht is currently looking for a Chef in their 20s to 40s to join their crew of 6. Female is preferred, but not essential. The vessel is Australian flagged so the candidate must be able to work legally in Australia without need for sponsorship.
The position is Temp however it would become full-time to the right person. The owner is an Australian Property Developer who is very nice and likes good service.
A Culinary trained chef is preferred but excellent cooks will also be considered. Person needs to be flexible in their cooking style as charters’ will be required to be more sophisticated. The owners enjoy casual meals that are great tasting and well presented.

Sydney during the festive season, and then the Whitsunday islands.

STCW95 is a bonus. A Culinary trained chef is preferred but excellent cooks will also be considered.

Work Information:
A 40m Sailing Yacht is currently looking for a Temp Engineer to join their crew of 6 for approximately 1 month from the last week of November. The job is full-time, live aboard on a 3 masted schooner. Candidate needs to be well presented, a keen sailor with experience on large yachts. Charter experience would be a bonus.

» ENGINEER / FIRST MATE POSITION ON 102ft SAIL YACHT (PRIVATE)
Work Information:
A private 102ft Sail Yacht (launched 2002) with an exceptional itinerary is currently looking for a young Engineer/First Mate to join their crew of four (2 English and 2 Australian). The yacht is currently located in Canada. Ideally aged early 20’s – 30’s, the successful candidate will be keen and enthusiastic, willing to help out in all areas whilst assuming full responsibility for all the maintenance and repair of the machinery and systems on board which includes all the usual associated with a vessel of this size. A ‘get the job done’ attitude and understanding of what it is like to work long hours is a must. Experience in dealing with electrics (boards / circuitry / testing and trouble-shooting / problem solving) would definitely be advantageous. The candidate needs to have a sailing background as they will be ‘watch leader’ whilst on passage.

Qualifications
