Crew Pacific is A Professional Placement Agency based in Cairns, Queensland, (Australia), which provides experienced and qualified crew from all over the world, for the Luxury Super Yachts and Maritime Industry.

Before crew are entered into Crew Pacific’s data base system. Crew Pacific guarantees a series of interviewing methods, which have taken place to ensure that the crew is up to the Super Yacht standards, and that they hold the current tickets, required for the position. We can forward resumes of each applicant with photo attachments to you, either by e-mail or fax.

All information given to Crew Pacific is confidential at all times, unless otherwise stated.

Clients Fee Policy

Before clients accept resumes they are required to abide by the terms of this contract.
It is agreed that the Owner, Captain, or representative appoints Crew Pacific to provide resumes of crew to be considered for employment, and agrees to pay for services rendered.

Fee Terms

  • Full-Time Employment: 50% of the first month’s salary
  • Seasonal Employment: 30% of first month’s salary
  • Temporary Employment: 25% of the first week’s salary

Communication Fees

Any Satellite costs incurred by Crew Pacific at the Owner, Captain, or Representative request will be charged accordingly to the client, at rate of AUD$10 per minute.

Submitting Resumés

Because of the transient nature of the yachting industry, it is agreed that a credit card number or a fixed address will be provided, to Crew Pacific, which can be arranged over the phone or fax, before the submission of resumes to the client, for consideration of employment.

It is agreed that the client informs Crew Pacific within 36 hours, of the crew they have chosen to interview for the position, or if they require further resumes.

Employment Details

When a candidate has been chosen it is the client’s responsibility to inform Crew Pacific, within 48 hours of the conditions of employment, such as candidate’s name, start date of employment, position, and salary.

If for any reason the candidate does not work out, it is the client’s responsibility to advise Crew Pacific of the cause of dismissal within 7 days. Where the candidate works three weeks into the month’s contract, a 10% retainer is retained by Crew Pacific to cover the initial placement expenses, or a replacement can be made without further costs to the client.

Payment Conditions

Full payment will be required within 14 days of candidate’s start date. After 14 days, client will be liable to pay interest of 1.5% per month, including any and all costs recoverable under the contract.

Agreement

I agree to ALL of the above terms provided by Crew Pacific. I understand the credit card details given over phone/fax, will be kept totally confidential and will be used for payment of placement fees within 30 days of invoicing or unless otherwise stated in writing.
